I was asked in a evaluation form what sets me apart from other animators. I had to think about that for a while because I didn't want something forced. It needed to be sincere.
Attending schools in the projects in New York City and coming from an under-privileged household have given me a great drive. It is that drive that has led me to where I am today, and has instilled in me a determination to continue to grow as an artist and an eagerness to learn new things. My artwork has been an outlet for me during challenging times in my life and I believe that has caused me to have a greater appreciation for the work that I do and for the artists that I surround myself with.

blocking cry
Here's a steady work in progress of a dialogue shot I have been working on. It was inspired by a laugh animation that I worked on. I felt I needed to really try to nail down the timing of animations that have crying and or laughing seeing as how they both deal in the same principal of staggered animation. Hope you likes.

Devils and Angels
I'm currently doing some animation for Devils and Angels. This is a work in Progress. I started splining it this weekend and noticed a couple of funky movements. Laugh animations are pretty challenging. As soon as I get the splining cleaned up I'll see if I can post a small tutorial with a piece of advice that someone gave me on how to approach a laugh.
